  Junior microcomputer technician - 6-month trial contract with the possibility of a permanent contract - Madrid We are looking for a Junior microcomputer technician to join our team in Madrid! Job description   Context of the position  The Junior microcomputer technician is integrated into the Network and Hardware team in Madrid.  In the network and hardware team, this highly collaborative IT team is led by Erick Vasquez, who is also in charge of networks and firewalls.  Communication is key in this environment. Each team member works with specific tasks, Emilio is in charge of the hardware department and all administrative tasks, such as ticket management. Josué is in charge of IT deliveries. To provide good technical service with the best tools so that each person can carry out his work without interruption  You will work in a fast-paced, international environment as part of a highly ambitious and motivated team of IT technicians who are responsible for specific tasks. You will work in the IT area solving all kinds of hardware, software and network problems. Under the supervision of Emilio Hernandez in charge of hardware, and in close collaboration with Selectra's Hardwared & Network Team Manager Erick Vasquez, our main missions as a team are: Reduce computer failures as well as reduce internet failures, support all areas of Selectra including the international.   Outcomes to be accomplished  Outcome 1 : Install, configure and maintain operating systems. Inherent Task A : ”Create a plan to keep operating systems running smoothly”  Inherent Task B : “Report all types of incidents with the Operating Systems” Outcome 2 : Maintenance of computer equipment Inherent Task A : “Carry out an annual preventive maintenance plan for IT equipment.” Inherent Task B : “Asset control in the warehouse” Outcome 3 : Troubleshooting the ticket platform (GLPI) Inherent Task A : “Provide a solution to all reported problems” Inherent Task B : “ Keeping track of the assigned tickets” Profile If you have studied an intermediate degree in computer science, you are eager to learn and put your knowledge into practice, this could be your opportunity, we value the following:   Technical skills: Knowledge of computers.
