In order to support the expansion of its Sys Admins Team, NoMachine S. à r.l. is seeking one (Junior) Linux System Engineer (m/f) for its Headquarters in Luxembourg-City. Your responsibilities Take care of the installation, configuration and maintenance of a quickly growing server farm and cloud environment. Supervise and check the status of computing resources, make backups. Monitor and analyze the progress of the work and the operation of systems, networks, tools and devices. Identify, diagnose the nature and origin of incidents, and implement corrective measures. Trigger or schedule maintenance operations and monitor compliance of the interventions. Install and integrate hardware (station, network equipment, devices, ...) in the production environment and configure logical and physical resources. Be part of the on-call rotation. Your profile You have a degree in an IT related discipline or equivalent qualifications and experience; You have experience or working knowledge in Linux/Unix System Administration, Configuration, Virtualization Technology (Proxmox, VMware), Network topology and Scripting Languages (sh/bash/Python); You have working knowledge of HTTPS services/proxies, such as Apache/Nginx or HAProxy; You are fluent in written and spoken English; You have good team skills and show ability to work on their own initiative; You are highly organized and self-motivated, possess strong interpersonal skills as well as strong analytic and communication skills; You have the B driving license (for on-call duties interventions).
